Suriya is now busy shooting for his magnum opus 'Kanguva,' in which he is playing a tribal legend. It is already reported that the star actor will team up again with director Sudha Kongara and composer GV Prakash for his 43rd film. The trio has already worked together in the National Award winning film 'Soorarai Pottru'.

Suriya recently confirmed that the 'Suriya 43' project will commence in October. Earlier, reports broke out that Dulquer Salmaan is playing an important role in the upcoming venture. Now, sources tell us that popular actress Nazriya Nazim Fahadh is set to make a comeback in Tamil cinema with the female lead role in Suriya 43.

Also, the latest we hear is that talented Bollywood actor Vijay Varma is approached by the makers to play the villain in Suriya 43. According to a source, "Vijay Varma has established himself as a credible actor with his performance in multiple films like Darlings, Dahaad, Pink, Gully Boy, Super 30 and more recently, Lust Stories 2. His work has fetched him appreciation all across and he has also come to the notice of directors and producers for Pan India projects. The first Pan India film that Vijay Verma has bagged is Suriya’s next with Sudha."

Sudha Kongara is currently on the verge of the completion of the Soorarai Pottru Hindi remake with Akshay Kumar as the lead. It is said that she has started prep work for her next and Suriya 43 will go on the floors in October or November. Suriya will move to Vetrimaaran's 'Vaadivaasal' after the completion of Suriya 43.
