Suriya is currently busy with his 42nd film directed by Siruthai Siva being made in10 languages using 3D technology. The two part fantasy action movie is produced by Studio Green and UV Creations with Devi Sri Prasad scoring the music. Suriya and Disha Patani are the lead pair while Kovai Sarala, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley and others.

After 'Suriya 42' the Nadippin Nayagan was expected to act in 'Vaadivaasal' directed by Vetrimaaran and produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu. But now the hot buzz is that he will be doing another biggie before that. According to reliable sources Suriya will start shooting for his second project with Sudha Kongara in April or June this year. The filming is expected to be wrapped by year end. Hence it is almost certain that the much awaited Suriya-Vetrimaaran film will go on floors only later this year or in 2024.

Suriya appeared in a guest role as the super villain 'Rolex' in Kamal Haasan's 'Vikram' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. He is also appearing in a small role in the Hindi version of 'Soorarai Pottru' starring Akshay Kumar which he is also producing.
