Suriya is busy shooting for his new movie 'Suriya 42' that is said to be a fantasy adventure story transcending several time periods. Reports say that Suriya will be donning 13 roles in the two part film directed by Siruthai Siva and jointly produced by Studio Green and UV Creations.

A hot buzz in the Indian film industry is that Jayantilal Gada of PEN Studios has bought the Hindi theatrical, satellite and digital rights of 'Suriya 42' for a massive rupees 100 Crores. Trade pundits are in a tizzy as not even half of the first part has been shot yet and the pre-business has started on such a huge note.

'Suriya 42' is directed by Siruthai Siva with music by Devi Sri Prasad. The film stars Suriya, Disha Patani, Kovai Sarala, Yogi Babu, Anand Raj and Mahat Raghavendra. The first part is expected to release on a festive date in 2023.
