Suriya is busy shooting for 'Suriya 42' directed by Siruthai Siva now. The magnum opus project stars Disha Patani as the female lead with Yogi Babu, Kovai Sarala, Redin Kingsley and Anand Raj in pivotal roles. Earlier today, we broke to you that Mansoor Ali Khan and Bjorn Surrao have joined the cast.

The filming kickstarted in Chennai last month and is currently going on in Goa. The latest is that the makers have completed 5 days of the 25-day schedule. The movie will feature scenes in both the past and present. A part song sequence was shot in the five days in Goa and a BTS image from the sets was leaked online.

According to sources, the team will shoot the portions involving Suriya, Yogi Babu, Kovai Sarala, Redin, Bjorn and Mansoor Ali Khan henceforth. The period scenes will be filmed after extensive pre-production work. Suriya is expected to sport a new look for the past sequences. Devi Sri Prasad is scoring music for 'Suriya 42' with visuals by Vetri.

Studio Green and UV Creations are bankrolling this massive budget venture to be made in two parts and in 3D. The makers are planning to release the film in 10 languages. Suriya is said to be playing five different roles in this movie. With a story by Adi Narayana, 'Suriya 42' has dialogues by Madhan Karky.
