Suriya's next biggie 'Suriya 42' is his career's highest budgeted film made in two parts and in ten languages. The film directed by Siruthai Siva has Suriya and Disha Patani as the lead pair with Dev Sri Prasad scoring the music and is jointly produced by UV Creations and Studio Green.

The latest hot update on the project is that popular Bollywood actress Mrunal Thakur has joined the cast and will play the pair one of the many characters that Suriya is playing . The 30 year old who made her mark in Marathi cinema later migrated to Bollywood but her breakthrough role came in the pan Indian blockbuster romance film 'Seetha Ramam' released last year. Her stunning portrayal of the lead character opposite Dulquer Salmaan was critically acclaimed.

The next shooting schedule of 'Suriya 42' is going to take place in the month of February. Mrinal Thakur is expected to join the sets at that time though the official confirmation is awaited.
