On Friday, the motion poster of Suriya's 42nd movie was released with a bang. Studio Green and UV Creations are producing the 10-language movie on a big scale.

The motion poster is set to a piece of rousing background music befitting the film's genre. But the stretch of the score that appears towards the end of the motion poster, after a towering warrior is seen from behind, has a resemblance to the background score of 'Parampara', the web series streaming on Disney+Hotstar.

It's another matter that the 'Parampara' BGM might itself be a rehash of a known score. Nowadays, a lot of scores that we hear are used across films and formats because of how effective they are in generating the right mood.

'Suriya 42', which is yet to be titled, is directed by Siruthai Siva. Devi Sri Prasad is its music director. The composer is currently also doing 'Pushpa 2'. In a recent interview, DSP said that there is no pressure on him even though 'Pushpa' was a big hit.
