Suriya is awaiting the release of his next 'Soorarai Pottru' directed by Sudha Kongara expected to hit screens in late summer after the coronavirus scare dies down. He is all set to start shooting 'Aruvaa' directed by Hari and produced by Studio Green Gnanavelraja in April with an eye for a Diwali release this year.

As reported by us earlier Suriya will also be shooting his 41st film simultaneously with 'Aruvaa' directed by Gnanavel of 'Kootathil Oruthan' game. The story depicts the life and struggles of the Irula tribe and we have the info that Suriya is playing the extended cameo role of a lawyer who fights for their cause.

It is worth mentioning that Jyothika is also playing a lawyer in her next release 'Ponmagal Vanthaal' directed by J.J. Fredrick and produced by Suriya's 2D Entertainment.
