Suriya has announced his upcoming film with director Bala, and the duo has reunited for the fourth time after 11 years. With a huge village set being erected in Kanyakumari Surya has now dropped a mass update from this much-anticipated film.

Taking to his Twitter Suriya wrote, "Been waiting for #DirBala na my mentor to say Action!!! …After 18 years, it’s happiness today…! This moment… we need all your wishes! #Suriya41"

Suriya announced his collaboration with Bala in October with a picture of him with the Pithamagan director and his father Sivakumar. He wrote, “The man who has more faith in me than myself. He is the one who introduced me to a whole new world and gave me an identity. 20 years later, I am standing before him with the same enthusiasm. With my father’s blessing, I am again starting a beautiful new journey with my brother Bala,”

Jyothika is finalised as one of the female leads in this film. The latest buzz is that actress Krithi Shetty is likely to play an important role in Suriya-Bala's movie. The young heroine has previously acted alongside some powerful actors in Telugu films: Uppena opposite Vijay Sethupathi, Shyam Singha Roy opposite Nani many more.
