Suriya after delivering back to back blockbuster hits 'Soorarai Pottru', 'Jai Bhim' and 'Etharkkum Thuindhavan' has completed a major schedule of shooting of over a month for his next 'Suriya 41' in the Kanyakumari region. The film marks the reunion of Suriya with his mentor after two decades since their pathbraking 'Nandhaa' and 'Pithamagan'.

Rumours broke out that creative differences broke out between Suriya and Bala and that it went to extreme levels and the project is shelved. Suriya himself has personally put an end to the rumours by giving an hot update.

'Suriya 41' has music by G.V. Prakash Kumar and is produced by Suriya and Jyothika's 2D Entertainment . Young Telugu actress Krithi Shetty is making her debut in Tamil as the leading lady. The next schedule of the film will start soon in Goa and will go on for a month when Suriya will be acting in a new getup.
