After giving back to back successful films 'Soorarai Pottru', 'Jai Bhim' and 'Etharkkum Thunindhavan', Suriya recently started shooting for his next project 'Suriya 41', for which he joined forces with his mentor, long-time friend and ace director Bala.

We had already updated you that the movie's shooting is going on in full swing at Kanyakumari. Meanwhile, a few BTS videos of Suriya from the sets of the Bala film has landed on social media and are doing rounds. Fans have been gathering in large numbers regularly to witness the actor. The actor was captured when he got into the caravan and was seen wearing shorts most of the time.

While it was earlier speculated that Suriya will be doing double action with one as deaf and dumb, it was recently clarified by a source that he is not playing dual roles in this film. However, the latest reports claim that Suriya is headlining a fisherman role in 'Suriya 41'. The audience is excited to witness the powerhouse performer's versatile avatar.

A huge village set is being erected in Kanyakumari for Suriya and Bala's untitled film. Produced by Suriya-Jyothika's 2D Entertainment, 'Suriya 41' will see sensational south star Krithi Shetty pairing with the actor while Malayalam actress Mamitha Baiju is playing an important role. GV Prakash is scoring the music and Balasubramniem is in charge of the visuals.
