Actor Suriya had wrapped up the 51-days long schedule of 'Etharkkum Thunindhavan' last month at Karaikudi. Director Pandiraj had planned to complete the entire shoot of ET by September and the team is eyeing a Christmas theatrical release.

Meanwhile, Indiaglitz broke to you first that the upcoming schedule of the rural entertainer will commence by the second week of September. Now, the latest information is that the new schedule of the Etharkkum Thunindhavan shooting has begun yesterday at Courtallam, Tenkasi.

According to some sources, the Tenkasi schedule is the final leg of the movie's filming and it is supposed to be a short schedule. And the hot buzz is that the makers are planning to release the first single track from ET album on the auspicious Aayudha Pooja day (October 14). D Imman has scored music for this film.

Touted to be a village subject with a strong social message, pretty Priyanka Arul Mohan is pairing opposite Suriya in the film. Etharkkum Thunindhavan also has Vinay Rai playing a crucial role with Sathyaraj, Saranya Ponvannan, Soori, M. S. Bhaskar, Devadarshini, Jayaprakash, Ilavarasu, Tiger Thangadurai and CWC Pugazh in assisting roles.
