Suriya after a long time in his career is simultaneously shooting for two movies one being 'NGK' directed by Selvaraghavan and the other 'Suriya 37' a multistarrer directed by K.V. Anand and costarring Mohan Lal, Sayyeeshaa, Arya, Boman Irani, Samuthirakani and others. His next 'Suriya 38' which he also produces will be directed by Sudha Kongara of 'Irudhi Suttru' fame which will go on floors in early 2019.

The latest hot buzz in Kollywood is that Suriya has been signed up for a huge sum by Sun Pictures and the project 'Suriya 39' will be directed by Hari. Suriya and Hari have given five super hits in the past namely 'Aaru', 'Vel', 'Singam', 'Singam 2' and 'Singam 3'. The famed commercial director has already made it clear in recent interviews that the film will not be a part of 'Singam' franchise but a brand new action entertainer. An official announcement is expected after the release of Thalapathy Vijay's 'Sarkar' which is the comeback production venture of Sun Pictures.
