Suriya is currently starring simultaneously in 'NGK' directed by Selvaraghavan and 'Suriya 37' directed by K.V. Anand. In the latter film he is reportedly playing the role of a commando and he worked up for the new getup which is being lauded by his fans on social media. To make his character authentic Suriya has met the DIG of National Security Gaurds (NSG) Mr. Shalin IPS and has shared "Dear Mr Shalin IPS DIG sir you made me feel like we knew each other for more than a decade, Owe you for all the guidance and Love..."

'Suriya 37' directed by K.V. Anand and produced by Lyca Productions has the ensemble cast of Mohan Lal, Suriya, Arya, Boman Irani, Sayyesshaa and Samuthirakani in the cast. Harris Jayaraj is scoring the music for this spy thriller that is to be shot all over the globe.
