As we had reported earlier Producer K.E.Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green banner conducted a hunger protest to put an end to piracy which has been a threat to the Tamil film business over the years. His recent big release '24' starring Suriya in triple roles has also become the victim of piracy mongers as the pirated online copies of the film have been identified.

Now in a shocking revelation it has been confirmed that the pirated version was shot at the film's screening on its release day in PVR Cinemas in Bangalore. The Qube Cinema Network has analyzed the pirated copy and found that the copy was shot during the 9 am show on May 6 2016 at a PVR screen in Orion Mall, Bangalore.

After this the '24' team has withdrawn the screening of the movie in the PVR screens across the country including two of its multiplexes in Chennai.

Further investigation would only reveal whether the theater employees or any one in the management was involved in this highly deplorable theft of creative work.
