Suresh Raina Anticipates Exciting Performance from Chinna Thala in Cricket

Former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina is all set to make his debut as a hero in Tamil cinema. While Raina has appeared in several commercials previously, this will be his first full-fledged movie role.

Interestingly, Raina is not starting his film career in Bollywood but has chosen Tamil cinema for his acting debut. He has signed on as the lead actor in a new film directed by Logan. This project is being produced by DKS, a new production company, as their first venture.

The official announcement of the film took place in Chennai, with several notable guests attending the event. Among them were cricketer Shivam Dube, editor Mohan, director Mohan Raja, and actor Satish.

The announcement video of the film, starring Raina, was launched by Shivam Dube. Suresh Raina also joined the event virtually via video call and shared his excitement and thoughts on entering Tamil cinema.

Speaking about his Tamil film debut, Raina said, “I have a strong fan base here in Tamil Nadu—the ‘Whistle Podu’ army. I’ve played many cricket matches here and always felt the warm love of the people. I love rasam and the Chennai beaches. That’s why I chose Tamil. Now, get ready for ‘Chinna Thala’s’ big screen journey!”
