Suresh Raina's abrupt exit from the up-and-coming season of IPL has left many shocked. The cricketer recently left Dubai citing personal reasons.

However, an Outlook India report says that Raina was unhappy over a hotel room that was given to him for stay. He wanted a room with a balcony, the report suggests sources as informing. He was feeling "claustrophobic and wanted a similar room that Dhoni had been provided," the magazine reported.

The buzz is that MS Dhoni, his long-time well-wisher, tried to convince Raina but to no avail. He would not allow himself to be pacified and all efforts came a cropper when he decided to call it quits.

N Srinivasan of the Chennai Super Kings team has been quoted as saying that Raina will regret deserting the team and defying Dhoni.

It's not clear whether the reason cited for Raina's exit is true or not. If it's untrue, it all looks silly.
