Star cricketer Suresh Raina has been in the news headlines for the past few days for his sudden departure from the UAE to India where he was with the Chennai Super Kings team to participate in the upcoming IPL 2020 tournament scheduled to begin on September 19th.
Rumours started spreading that Raina had a big misunderstanding with Dhoni and it was further fuelled by team owner Srinivasan allegedly reacting to his behaviour as success going to his head. Srinivasan later denied saying that and asserted that he supported Raina and called him an important player in his team.
Raina for the first time has opened up about the issue and stated that he has no misunderstanding with M.S. Dhoni and also said that even though he is away from the team he is practising in private. The swashbuckling batsman further added that he considered whatever Srinivasan said as a scold from his father and he does not mind it.
Much to the delight of fans, Suresh Raina assured that he would return to the CSK dressing room soon and he also sees himself playing for the team for the next four to five years.
Raina has also been affected by a personal tragedy as his uncle Ashok Kumar was murdered in a burglary attempt in his village in Punjab and one of his cousins also passed away due to injury from the incident. His aunt and another cousin are fighting for their lives in serious condition in a private hospital.
