Suresh Pai - a specialist editor for multiplex films

There are certain actors and directors who specialize in a 'different' kind of cinema. Earlier such genre was called 'parallel cinema' and now it is known by different names - experimental, crossover, multiplex cinema etc. etc.
But rarely does one see a member from the technical crew who has found a strong foothold in this genre. Well, young editor Suresh Pai has done just the same with upcoming 'Mixed Doubles' being one of his many such movies that are classified as multiplex films.
One look at the movies that he has 'edited' in past and you would know how. Home Delivery (2005), Page 3 (2005), Raghu Romeo(2003), Jhankaar Beats (2003), Leela (2002), Everybody Says I'm Fine! (2001) and Snip! (2000). With most of the movies he has worked so far being critically acclaimed, it won't be wrong to say that he is one of the most accomplished new age editor allowed!
