Director Suresh Krishna, who made 'Baashha', one of the all-time favourites of Superstar Rajinikanth's fans, is planning to have a sequel for the movie. But not in Kollywood. He will direct the second part of the super hit flick in Kannada!

The blockbuster Tamil film was remade in the Sandalwood as 'Kotigobba', with Vishnuvardhan playing the lead role. And now, plans are on to go for a sequel, with Sudeep donning the role made memorable by Rajini in Tamil and Vishnuvardhan in Kannada.

Confirming this development, Suresh Krishna says, Yes there are plans for a sequel. But talks are still in preliminary stage. The director is now busy shooting for a Kannada film 'Kotari Veera Sura Sundarangi'.

With Suresh Krishna having delivered many flops in Telugu, not many might be interested to watch Baasha-II here. However, Sudeep enjoys popularity big time in Kannada and this will help the film a lot.
