Suresh Kondeti's sensible taste

The way he has come up in life from humble beginnings to being the proprietor of a film magazine and now a producer is a story of success. We are talking about Suresh Kondeti the journalist who was till recently known as the owner of Santosham and now as a producer with a sensible taste.

Ever since Premisthe (Shankar’s first home production) was released by him in Telugu, his acumen has never been doubt. He was perceptive in seeing a hit in the tragedy story. Years later, he released Shopping Mall, and this one too became a winner for him (at least commercially). Vikram-Anushka starrer Nanna may not have been a hit, but the film gave him the image of a producer with a rich taste, who always has something or the other to offer to the discerning audience.

He is back with yet another interesting offer. This one, again, is dubbed from Tamil. The super hit movie Renigunta, which is the story of a youngster who joins hands with four criminals to avenge the murder of his parents. Titled as Renigunta in Tamil also, the film, made on a shoestring budget, was a hit there. As the result, he is hoping to repeat the Premisthe feat with this movie.

In an age when crass commercialism has trampled upon sense and sensibility, Suresh's commitment to offer refreshing cinema and dramas that strike the right chord deserves unqualified kudos.
