The shoot for Suresh Gopi’s ‘Paappan’ has been progressing at a brisk pace. The film helmed by veteran director Joshiy has Suresh Gopi playing the lead character named Abraham Mathew Mathan. Ever since the movie went on floors, the star’s stylish salt and pepper avatar for the movie has been winning the internet. 

While the audiences are impatiently waiting to see their favorite star on the big screen, the latest news is that movie's shoot has been temporarily suspended owing to the increasing COVID-19 cases in the state. The news was officially announced by the makers of the film. 

‘Paappan’, scripted by RJ Shaan who had earlier co-written ‘C/O Saira Banu’, is touted to be a family-based entertainer with mystery and suspense elements in it. Along with Suresh Gopi, the film has his son Gokul Suresh Gopi, Sunny Wayne, Nyla Usha, and Neeta Pillai essaying other major roles. Kaniha, Vijayaraghavan, Asha Sarath, Chandhunadh, Tini Tom, and Shammy Thilakan are also part of the supporting cast.
