As reported earlier, actor Suresh Gopi is joining hands with ‘Vellimoonga’ director Jibu Jacob for an upcoming film titled ‘Mei Hoom Moosa’. Now, the latest is that the makers have officially announced the release date of the flick. The movie, which is in the post-production phase currently will hit the cinemas on September 30. “Gear up for this fun, frolic, and inspiring journey of Moosa. #MeiHoomMoosa in cinemas from September 30th! ,” the makers penned on social media, announcing the release date.

It may be noted that the trailer of 'Mei Hoom Moosa' was released recently and had already generated a huge hype among the audiences. Going by the trailer, Suresh Gopi is essaying the role of Ponnani native Moosa who is a veteran of the Indian army. The movie narrates a few incidents that happen in the life of Moosa. The movie boasts of an ensemble cast of Poonam Bajwa, Aswini Reddy, Saiju Kurup, Hareesh Kanaran, Johnny Antony, Major Ravi, Mithun Ramesh, Sharan, Srinda, and a lot of new faces. The movie's cinematography is by Vishnu Narayanan and editing is by Sooraj ES. The music of the film is handled by Sreenath Sivasankaran, and the lyrics are penned by Rafeeq Ahmed. Dr CJ Roy and Thomas Thirvalla have jointly bankrolled the movie for the banners of Confident Group and Thomas Thiruvalla Films.

As Jibu Jacob's previously helmed films - ‘Vellimoonga’, ‘Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol’, ‘Adhyarathri’, and, ‘Ellam Sheriyakum’ were all super hit family entertainers, hype around the upcoming project is sky high!
