On the occasion of actor Suresh Gopi's 61st birthday, the much-anticipated teaser of 'Kaaval' has been released on social media. The one-minute-long teaser that promises to be an action thriller, gives a sneak peek of Suresh Gopi's character in the movie. As the audience is seeing the mass avatar of the actor after a very long gap, movie buffs can't stop going gaga over the teaser.

'Kava'l is being touted to be a blend of action thriller and family drama spanning two generations. Director Renji Panicker's son Nithin Renji Panicker who made his directorial debut with the Mammootty starrer 'Kasaba', is helming the upcoming movie.

Veteran actor-writer Renji Panicker will be playing a major role in the flick. Zaya David, last seen in Irupathiyonnam Noottaandu, plays the female lead with Muthumani, IM Vijayan, Sujith Sankar, Alencier, and Kannan Rajan P Dev cast in supporting roles.

On the technical side, Nikhil S Praveen, who won a National award for his cinematography in 'Bhayanakam', is cranking the camera while Mansoor Muthootti handles the editing. Joby George’s Goodwill Entertainments is bankrolling the film, which has music by Ranjin Raj.

The team was left with shoot of 10 more days when the lockdown was announced and the crew had to wrap up the shoot. Meanwhile, the team had already begun dubbing for the movie.
