Suresh Gopi with an 'Ultasava Kanavu'

The first six months of 2008 featured just one movie from Suresh Gopi. And this movie 'The Sound of Boot' - the only release from the star couldn't make any big impact at the Box Office.

But don't surmise that the star is waiting idle, for the results of his next movies. Even as his films like ‘Bullet’, ‘Kaavyam’, ‘Laptop’ and ‘Twenty: Twenty’ are at various final stages of their production, the star is speeding over to his next projects.

Suresh Gopi is expected to join his new movie with director Baiju 2D titled 'Ultsava Kanavu', this weekend. The movie which will kick off its shooting by the 15th of this month at Theni will feature debutante Ridhya as the heroine. Also in the cast are Jagathy, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Salimkumar, Bijukuttan, Mamukoya, Bindu Panikkar, Sona Nair, Harishree Ashokan and Maala.

This movie produced by Mummy Century will be scripted by Socrates, another debutant to the field. Vipin Mohan will crank the camera while Kaithapram Viswanathan, -Gireesh Puthencherry team will set the songs for this movie.

Meanwhile, Suresh Gopi's next release will be Roopesh Paul’s ‘Laptop’ which will grace the theatres on the second week of July.
