Actor Suresh Gopi, who plays the villain in the Vikram starrer Ai` was overlooked for its audio launch. The audio launch was held with much fanfare and the gala event was attended by a star brigade including Rajanikanth and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Suresh Gopi apparently did not even receive the invitation or pass to the event. It is heard that the actor is not in good terms with the crew. The movie, directed by Shankar took years to complete, with conflicting dates of actors. Even after the dates given by Suresh Gopi, his parts were yet to be completed. The actor then requested for this to be done as speedily as possible. But still the project dragged on. Also, it is reported that Suresh Gopi`s certain compulsions led to differences of opinion, which again increased the wedge.
