Following the likes of the other superstars in Malayalam, Suresh Gopi has finally decided to make a try in the production of movies.

He will be associating with famous director Rajiv Naath to produce a film titled Ezhaam Mudra. The film which is produced in the banner of Grass Hopper Films will also have the star in the lead. Scripted by Balu the film will tell a story in the backdrop of Srilanka.

Suresh is appearing in the film as a Navy Doctor, which will start its shooting by the third week of this month. The film which will be shot at Colombo will have some of the sequences shot in the sets erected at Kovalam.

Before Suresh Gopi, the other superstars like Mohanlal and Mammootty has been the producers of many films. Lal and Mammootty who combined together for a banner titled Cheers in the late eighties have been the producers of many hit films.

Then Lal floated his own production company Pranavam which produced many of his hits, while Mammootty turned to the mini screen to produce some of the biggest and long running tele-soaps in Malayalam.
