Mollywood Superstar and renowned politician Suresh Gopi lend a helping hand to an underprivileged woman in Kerala, by gifting a wedding dress and a sum of rupees 1 lakh. The bride identified as Aswathy Ashok is set to enter wedlock in September.

Reportedly, the bride lost her father 21 years ago and belongs to an underprivileged family. Her mother, Saraswathi, used to work as a sweeper in a resort, but it has been two years since she lost her job. The pandemic situation took a toll on the family to proceed with the wedding. Upon understanding the family’s plight, the locals and the police informed actor Suresh gopi about the matter. Pictures of the actor handing over the cheque and saree in front of Ettumanoor Mahadeva temple are doing the rounds on social media.

On the work front, Suresh Gopi wrapped the shoot ‘Paappan’, an upcoming film helmed by Joshiy. The film will also feature Gokul Suresh, Sunny Wayne, Nyla Usha, Neeta Pillai, and Kaniha in pivotal roles. He also has another movie in the pipeline titled 'Kaaval' helmed by Nithin Renji Panicker. The movie is in the post-production phase. On his birthday, the actor announced another interesting project tentatively titled 'SG251' helmed by Rahul Ramachandran.

The first look poster of the film had the actor in a never seen before avatar. As the actor made a strong comeback in his second innings, fans have pinned high hopes on his new projects.
