Suresh Gopi is again into his one of the tailor made roles in Detective. This new film by the debutant director Jithu Joseph places Gopi as a clever investigative officer who is to clear off the mysteries behind a murder. Suresh Gopi who usually excels in these types of roles has been doing the underworld dons for the last couple of films.

Detective is produced by Mahi who recently produced the Dileep starrer Chess. Detective also becomes the comeback pad for the super hit music director of the nineties--S.P.Venkitesh. The film is scheduled to make a release by the February of 2007.
