Suresh Gopi in the lookout for difference

As the new film Smart City is poised for release by the end of this week, action hero Suresh Gopi is looking for different roles from the ones that he is normally into. The debutant director B Unnikrishnan is attempting him in a different getup as a real estate mafia don.
In the present year every film that were released, presented him either as a don, investigative officer or politician. Only one that had him as a different advocate, Chinthamani Kola Case managed to make an impression in the box office and helped Suresh Gopi to showcase his talents.
The look for different avenues of acting has finally made the actor decide to go for a different role in Vinayan's Black Cat. The film has Suresh Gopi in an entirely new getup with long hair, and black clothes with a mysterious past.
Suresh Gopi, undoubtedly one of the finest actors in Malayalam needs to look out for more meaningful roles in the future. In the present year's IFFK, he has two films - Jayaraj's Adbhutham and Harikumar's Paranju Theeratha Visheshangal. But as both these films are aimed at festival circuits and like minded audiences, both will not help the actor in increasing his popularity.
