Suresh Gopi - Don, back to back

Suresh Gopi was known for his exhilarating performances in police roles in the previous years. He had created a number of super hits like Commissioner, Bharathchandran, Ekalavyan, Sathyameva Jayathe and F I R playing the police protagonist of different versions.
Many believed that he can only excel in police roles with bomb dialogues and stunning action sequences. But now it seems to be, his time for changing this notions and for playing underworld dons.
Suresh Gopi is appearing in similar prototypes of Donship in two films that is in its shooting phase. The immediate release of Suresh Gopi Bada Dost will feature him as Dayanidhi, a don who rules the Cochin city. The entire film is based on the thrilling incidents following the arrival of a police officer who is all set to nab the don.
The other film Smart City where again he is in a character of don with the name Madhavan. This film is the debut vehicle of scriptwriter B Unnikrishanan into direction.
Unnikrishnan had earlier presented Suresh Gopi in a police role in his recent hit Tiger. Fans expect both these films to add some variety into the roles featured by the star.
