Recently, producer D Suresh Babu lodged a complaint with the Madhapur Police Station regarding an "illegal construction" coming up on a site owned by him in Khanmet village. After doing due diligence, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation officials today went to demolish the structure. Reacting adversely, two youngsters assaulted the GHMC officials in a moving vehicle.

Sections of media have wrongly reported that Suresh Babu was involved indirectly in all the fracas. Taking note of the issue, the senior film industry personality today issued a statement clarifying that the violators who abused the officials were doing so because the "illegal construction" was being bulldozed over. It was Suresh Babu who raised the complaint on February 11.
