Actors Suraj Venjaramoodu and Indrajith are teaming up for an upcoming thriller titled 'Patham Valavu' directed by M Padmakumar. On Sunday, the makers of the movie unveiled the teaser of the movie and has already generated a huge buzz on the project.

Scripted by Abhilash Pillai, the movie's story is based on a true incident that had shaken the conscience of the people in Kerala some years ago. Touted to be a family thriller, 'Patham Valavu' has Aditi Ravi and Swasika Vijay as female leads. The movie also has Ajmal Ameer, Aneesh G Menon, Sudheer Karamana, Sohan Seenu Lal, Major Ravi, Rajesh Sharma, Shaju Sreedhar, Nisthar Ahmed, Edavela Babu, Nandan Unni, Jayakrishnan, Thushara Pilla and Ambili appearing in prominent roles. Actress Muktha's daughter Kanmani is making her acting debut in this movie.

Produced by Dr. Zacharia Thomas, Gijo Kavanal, Sreejith Ramachandran and Prince Paul under the banner UGM Productions in association with Mumbai Movie Studios, 'Patham Valavu' is their first venture in Malayalam. Ratheesh Ram, who worked under cinematographer Shaji Kumar, is behind the camera while Shameer Muhammed handles the editing. Ranjin Raj is working on the music.
