After the success of Driving License, actors Prithviraj and Suraj Venjaramoodu are teaming up again for an upcoming movie titled 'Jana Gana Mana'. After his co-star Prithviraj and Jana Gana Mana director Dijo Jose Antony tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday, Suraj has now gone into self-quarantine.
Announcing the same on his social media handle, Suraj Venjaramood wrote, "As you all know Raju (Prithviraj Sukumaran) and director Dijo Jose Antony have tested positive for COVID-19 during the shooting of ‘Jana Gana Mana’. Since I was part of that film and in contact with them at the time of the shooting, I am going into self-quarantine. So, those who have been in contact with me and the ‘Jana Gana Mana’ team in recent days are being told to go into compulsory quarantine and those who have any symptoms should get tested as soon as possible."
It may be remembered that earlier, in the month of May, the actor was asked by the health department to go into home quarantine after participating in the Subhiksha Keralam programme. He was tested negative then and had resumed work.
Suraj, who recently won the Kerala State Award for Best Actor in Vikruthi and Android Kunjappan, has Manu Ashokan's Kaanekkaane, which marks the reunion of Tovino Thomas and Aishwarya Lekshmi and Jeo Baby's Oru Mahathaya Bharatiya Adukkala (The Great Indian Kitchen) in the pipeline.
