Kushboo is not without support in Tamil Nadu these days.

The actress, under siege from a political section that is hell bent on revenge, is still keeping the protests on against the actress. But her colleagues in the industry are rallying around her in support.

The Tamil Film Artistes Association aka Nadigar Sangam on Tuesday strongly condemned the Pattali Makkal Katchi, Dalit Panthers of India and the Tamil Protection Movement for holding protests in front of the Nadigar Sangam premises over the Kushboo issue.

At an emergency meeting convened by the association, which was attended by its president Vijayakanth and general secretary Sarath Kumar, the association said it was wrong on the part of the politicos to hold a protest in front of their association.

On the Kushboo issue, the association observed that it was the personal view of the actress and she has sought a public apology and the association has nothing to do with it.

By keeping their guns trained on Kushboo even after she has sought an apology, the politicos have proved that thet are only after cheap publicity.
