It is that time when superstars and others are giving a thumbs-up to Narendra Modi, the Hon'ble Indian Prime Minister, for the anti-black money, anti-terror financing move his government has taken. The ban of Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 notes has made the likes of Rajinikanth sit up and tweet.
Superstar Rajinikanth said, "Hats off @narendramodi ji. New india is born," ending it with a Jai Hind hashtag. Universal Star Kamal Haasan, not a stranger to making opinions on issues of national importance, said, "Salute Mr. Modi. This move has to be celebrated across political party lines. Most importantly by earnest tax payers."
Akkineni Nagarjuna hailed the move in glorious terms. He tweeted, "Tweeting from Paris/congrats @narendramodi Ji!! for rewarding us tax payers. India on the way to become a super economy #IndiaFightsCorruption."
Mohan Babu, who has praised Modi more than a few times in the past, said, "Today is one of the most happiest day in my life. And I have to thank @narendramodi ji for this.He had the guts to take on the corrupt money." Note that the veteran actor, who was formerly with the TDP, recently said that he will once again take a plunge into politics.
