As we all know, Superstar`s Lingaa` is underway for the final schedule in Shimoga, and the team is working day & night to meet the deadline. Insiders say, the team Lingaa` was busy shooting some crucial scenes near Linganamakki Dam after getting prior permissions from the authorities. But, some social activists of different Kannada organizations joined hands together and protested against team Lingaa`.

They feared about the shooting might affect the Ecosystem of Lingamakanni Dam. Team Lingaa` called the officials to the location and made them talk to the protestors. After getting promises from the crew and concerned authorities, the protesters left the scene without creating further fuss. K.S.Ravikumar is directing the film and A.R.Rahman is taking care of the music.
