Before few weeks, Superstar Rajnikanth had said in a press meet that there are no strong leaders in Tamil Nadu, and after the demise of Jayalalitha and Karunanidhi, there has been a void in Tamil Nadu politics. This had been opposed by many political leaders from various parties.

Now, actress and Andhra MLA Roja, who has paired with Superstar Rajnikanth in movies like Uzhaippali and Veera, has made a statement in contrast to the views of the actor. She has said that Tamil Nadu has a strong leader like Edappadi Palanisamy and she wonders why Rajnikanth said there's a void.

Roja has said that since her constituency is in Tamil Nadu border, many people from Tamil Nadu who wish to start their business come to meet her, and have told high of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy, and that Edappadi Palanisamy who was not noticed during Jayalalitha's rule is now giving good governance.
