In a recently held book release event, Superstar Rajnikanth had praised Amit Shah and Narendra Modi and he went on to praise the way they dealt the Kashmir issue,calling them Krishna and Arjuna. This had been followed by a contrasting statement from Vijay Sethupathi opposing Kashmir moves.

Yesterday, the pressmeet of Vemal, Varlaxmi Sarathkumar starrer Kanni Raasi was held and speaking in the event, lyricist Yuga Bharathi said that National awards did not give any happiness to Tamil film industry and instead of speaking of Krishna and Arjuna, actors must speak of this, and he directly trolled Superstar Rajnikanth.

Besides he also said that director Muthukumaran had placed Periyar doll in a Golu in a Kannan song in the movie, and this was the meaning of what Rajnikanth and Vijay Sethupathi spoke before few days. Kanni Raasi also stars Yogi Babu and Robo Shankar.
