Superstar Rajnikanth who was last seen on screen in Petta has completed his 167th movie Darbar directed by AR Murugadoss and the movie is releasing worldwide on January 9. Starting last week, the actor has started shooting for his 168th movie directed by Siva.

Produced by Sun Pictures, the team is now shooting in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. Actress Keerthy Suresh who is said to be playing Rajnikanth's sister in the movie was congratulated by Superstar Rajnikanth and team of Thalaivar 168, and celebrated her win by cutting a cake on the sets.

Pictures of Superstar Rajnikanth giving Keerthy a cake and presenting a bouquet have turned viral. It must be noted that Keerthy Suresh's mother Menaka was Rajnikanth's co-star in his hit film Netrikann. Thalaivar 168 also stars Meena, Khushbu, Soori, Prakashraj, Sathish and has music by D Imman.
