Superstar Rajnikanth had started the year with the massive success of his Karthik Subbaraj directorial Petta, which was produced by Sun Pictures, and currently the actor is working on his next movie Darbar which is directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Lyca Productions.

Recently, director Siva had met Superstar Rajnikanth at the latter's Poes Garden residence, and it was said that the meeting was a formal one, and that the actor had appreciated Siva's Viswasam as he watched it recently, and praised the way the director had designed emotional scenes.

While it was believed that there won't be any movie in the combo of Siva and Rajnikanth, the latest speculation in Kollywood is that indeed Superstar will be working with Siva, and that this biggie will be produced by top producer Kalaipuli S Thanu who had produced Kabali earlier. An official announcement is yet to be made on this speculation.
