Superstar Rajnikanth had scored a commercial success earlier this year with his Pongal release, the Karthik Subbaraj directorial Petta costarring Vijay Sethupathi, Trisha, Simran, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and is all set to begin his next which will be directed by AR Murugadoss.

Produced by Lyca Productions, this movie which has been referred to as Thalaivar 166, will be shot in Mumbai, and with the regular shooting expected to commence from April 10, it has now been revealed that the movie's principal photoshoots will be held today, and if the photoshoot is done today, one can expect the look of Superstar to be revealed any time.

This movie will have Lady Superstar Nayanthara paired with Rajnikanth, and it has been said that the movie won't be having any other heroine. Santhosh Sivan handles cinematography, and Anirudh scores music for this mass entertainer.
