Superstar Rajnikanth had scored back to back hits with the scifi thriller 2.0 directed by Shankar released last year, and the revenge action drama Petta directed by Karthik Subbaraj which released this Pongal, and the actor is all set to begin his next soon.

His 166th movie, which will be directed by A.R.Murugadoss after his political entertainer Sarkar with Thalapathy Vijay, is touted to be a social flick with fantasy elements, and it was speculated that Superstar will be seen playing a cop in the movie after more than two decades post movies like Pandian, Kodi Parakkuthu etc.

While there are speculations on the cast of the movie as well, with Keerthy Suresh projected as the top contender to play the female lead, the latest buzz is that, the most wanted comedian of Kollywood, Yogi Babu might be roped in to play the comedian in Rajnikanth - Murugadoss combo's flick. It must be noted that Yogi Babu was a part of Sarkar as well. An official confirmation is awaited.
