Superstar Rajnikanth was last seen on screen in Petta released this Pongal, and after the success of the Karthik Subbaraj movie, the actor has completed his 167th movie Darbar directed by AR Murugadoss and co-starring Lady Superstar Nayanthara, and the movie releases on Pongal 2020.

Superstar celebrates his 70th birthday on December 12, and on this occasion besides also to celebrate him being conferred Icon of Golden jubilee at IFFI in the film festival held in Goa, Sathya Movies has planned to re-release Rajnikanth's massive hit movie Baasha on December 11 in select cities.
