Now the actor is working on his next, the AR Murugadoss directorial Darbar, which is his 167th movie and the shooting of this movie produced by Lyca Productions is progressing in Mumbai, featuring Rajni, Lady Superstar Nayanthara, Nivetha Thomas and comedian Yogi Babu.

After the inclusion of Sacred Games star Jatin Sarna as part of the cast, Darbar team has roped in actor Pradeep Kabra, who has also acted in Kaala as Nana Patekar's assistant as part of the cast. Pradeep has been known for his funny villain acts in movies like Settai and Anjaan.
