Superstar Rajnikanth was last seen on screen in the Karthik Subbaraj directorial Petta which was released earlier this year on Pongal festival and following the success of the big movie with a huge star cast, the Superstar is now acting in his 167th movie Darbar.

Darbar is directed by AR Murugadoss and the movie produced by Lyca Productions has Lady Superstar Nayanthara pairing with Superstar after Chandramkhi and special appearances in Kuselan and Sivaji, and Nivetha Thomas, Yogi Babu, Suniel Shetty are also part of the cast.

Actor Vishnu Vishal has now revealed that he has a connect with Darbar. His brother Rudra has worked as an assistant director in the movie, and the actor has revealed it with his tweet that read "#Darbar - Have a personal connect to it :) my brother #RUDRA is one of the assistant directors :) Thank you @ARMurugadoss sir for the opportunity.Can't wait to hear exclusive stories about #Thalaivar from the sets :):)".
