Superstar Rajnikanth who had given a hit this Pongal with Petta, will be having another release for Pongal 2020, with Darbar, his 167th movie which is directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Lyca Productions. Following the release and success of first single Chumma Kizhi, here's the next big update.

The grand audio launch of Darbar will take place at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium, Chennai on December 7, 5 PM onwards. Darbar has music by Anirudh for whom this is the second movie with Superstar after Petta, and the movie has cinematography by Santosh Sivan.

Darbar has Lady Superstar Nayanthara paired with Superstar Rajnikanth, and Nivetha Thomas plays his daughter, while Bollywood actors Suniel Shetty and Prateik Babbar play the villains. Yogi Babu and Yograj Singh are also part of Darbar which is expected to release on January 9, 2020.
