Superstar Rajnikanth who had delivered a massive blockbuster earlier this year with his Pongal release, the Karthik Subbaraj directorial Petta, is currently acting in his 167th movie Darbar directed by AR Murugadoss who had last made Sarkar.

Produced by Lyca Productions, which had earlier produced Superstar's 2.0, Darbar has Rajnikanth playing a police officer, while Lady Superstar Nayanthara plays the female lead, and the movie also stars Nivetha Thomas, Yogi Babu, Sunil Shetty, Prateik Babbar and John Mahendran.

Now it has been revealed that actor Sriman, known for his interesting supporting roles and his hilarious act in the Kanchana series has joined the cast of Darbar, as the actor took it to Twitter to share his happiness of working with Superstar for the first time in his career, and with Murugadoss 19 years after his debut Dheena.
