Superstar Rajinikanth will be next seen in the titular role in director Nelson Dilipkumar's mega multistarrer, 'Jailer' and in a cameo role in daughter Aishwarya's next directorial project, 'Lal Salaam'. Meanwhile, there were numerous reports regarding the director of 'Thalaivar 171'.

The latest buzz is that Superstar Rajinikanth will join with 'Jai Bhim' director TJ Gnanavel for Thalaivar 171 and the project will be bankrolled by Subaskaran under Lyca Production who's also producing Lyca Productions. According to sources, Rajinikanth will be playing a police officer in this much-awaited venture.

As per the recent reports, the Superstar is currently shooting for Jailer in Andhra Pradesh. The film also stars Shiva Rajkumar and Mohanlal in important roles as well. He will wrap up Jailer soon and is expected to commence filming for Lal Salaam by March.
