Superstar’s decision to enter politics with an ambitious goal to contest all 234 constituencies has been ardently supported by fans and his political followers as well. With his ‘spiritual politics’, Rajinikanth actually seems to be gaining traction in his political venture.

It seems like the Superstar has earned another supporter in the form of noted magazine Tughlaq’s editor Gurumurthy. Speaking at a function, Gurumurthy seemed to be all praises for Rajinikanth and his political venture.  “Knowing well that an alliance with BJP could help transform the state politics and to avoid association with dravidian parties, spiritual politics is an apt strategy for Rajinikanth” he said.

Gurumurthy further opined that Rajiniknath has a fair chance to make it in his political venture and also that Dravidian parties have dissolved the true meaning of spirituality over the years. He also stated that Rajinikanth has the capacity to save Tamil Nadu out of its impending 'danger'. 

In response to this and considering Gurumurthy’s opinions, BJP’s minister H.Raja has stated that he will consider allying with the Superstar. However, we will have to wait to know Rajini’s decision regarding this.
