The DMK is riding in a comfortable position in the vote-counting so far with its alliance leading in around 157 constituencies with some wins already announced. The party has also garnered an individual majority getting a few seats more than the required 118 and it's certain now that M.K. Stalin will assume power as the new TN Chief Minister.
